Birding Northwood and Beyond – October 8, 2024

Leaders: Bert Hixon, Ruth Bergstrom, Alan & Robin Crawford

Temp: 60° F

Winds: NNW 6 mph

Weather Conditions: sunny

Yellow-rumped Warblers were numerous and actively gleaning insects around the lake. A Rusty Blackbird was spotted skulking near the island and migrating Cooper’s and Sharp-shinned Hawks gave us good ID practice.
