Meets at the Parking area at the west end of Shawmount Ave. (off Route 603/Bayshore Road, south of Route 654/Fulling Mill Road, 0.2 miles south of the Lower Township municipal buildings and library). Explore this former golf course, now a state wildlife management area, on easy-walking asphalt trails. Good for woodpeckers, grosbeaks, sparrows, warblers and other migrants.  No preregistration required.  Cost: $6 members, $10 nonmembers. Join Captain Bob and the naturalists and crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible. For a full list of photographs and prices please go HERE About Shannon: Growing up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Elkin, North Carolina, wildlife photographer Shannon Merolla nurtured a love of the outdoors and nature from a very young age. What started out a few years ago as backyard birding has grown into a daily routine of locating unique wildlife and getting ‘The shot’. Shannon spends her days exploring wildlife refuges, sanctuaries, or anywhere birds and other wildlife are to be found. Her camera captures the moment when both she and wildlife discover each other.
