NJ Audubon has leased the birding privileges on this working farm where the field edges regularly attract warblers, sparrows, and other fall migrants. It's also a great place to see migrant raptors overhead.  Meets in the The Beanery parking lot on Bayshore Rd.  No preregistration required.  Cost: $6 members, $10 nonmembers. Led by Kristin Mylecraine. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be provided.) This class will be held weekly from 11/2/19 to 1/4/20. There will be no class 11/30/2019 and 12/28/2019. Walk-ins are welcome. To register please call 908-396-6386. To register for the full 8-week session, registration is required prior to the first class. You may register for a single class. Cost: Cost for all 8 classes: $88 members, $112 nonmembers. Cost per class: $12 members, $15 nonmembers.

Digital Photography Workshop III – Boot Camp

Led by Phil Witt, Dave DesRochers, and Jack Moskowitz, Associate Naturalists. Workshop 3 will be a photo boot camp. In Workshop 3 the participants will apply what they learned in Workshops I and II. This will be a hands-on session with cameras, with participants practicing changing camera settings, compensation for varying light conditions. We will practice composition using flower set ups, considering the effect of light quality and direction, distance to subject, focal length, and f/stop.
