2021 Cape May Fall Festival

75th Anniversary We are pleased to announce we’ll be hosting our Cape May Fall Festival in person from Thursday evening, October 14th through Sunday, October 17th Fall Festival Highlights Registration will include a selection of field trips, trolley trips, boat trips and indoor programs, as well as our Thursday evening Kick-off Party at the Rusty Nail, sponsored by Kowa! Cape May Convention Hall will be packed with all kinds of nature-related vendors, plus a live show animal show every couple of hours by Nature Nick. The Fall Festival t-shirt and artwork is being designed by Louise Zemaitis and we’re looking forward to some 75th Anniversary merch! Join Teacher Naturalist Dorothy Smullen for a tree identification workshop. Want to know what those trees are in your backyard? Join Dorothy for a workshop on tree identification. Starting indoors with a PowerPoint and vocabulary information, we will practice identification skills. A trail walk will follow as we learn about fall foliage changes and view the trees we have studied.  One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends 10/16 at 4:00 PM. If you are unvaccinated, please mask up. This workshop will be held partly indoors; attendees MUST wear a mask at all times indoors regardless of vaccination status, and follow social distancing. Please do not come to a program if you are sick, have a sick family member or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future. REGISTER HERE
