NJ Audubon: Little Naturalists
New Jersey Audubon's Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary 11 Hardscrabble Road, BernardsvilleBring your little naturalist for a nature-based program featuring a story, a mini-hike, outdoor activity, and a craft. Each class will focus on an aspect of the natural world, and the story and activity will highlight the theme. This class will meet every Thursday morning, 10:00 to 11:00, May 5 to June 9. For children ages 3 - 5 and one parent or caregiver. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. Ticket sales ends at 9:00 AM on the Wednesday before each class. NEW JERSEY AUDUBON'S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: All NJ counties are considered medium to low COVID-19 community levels. New Jersey Audubon highly recommends that anyone who is not fully vaccinated, wants additional protection, or comes from a higher community level area should consider wearing a mask and social distancing, especially indoors. Please do not come to a program if you are sick, have a sick family member or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future. REGISTER HERE
Lorrimer Tiny Tots World Series of Birding!
Lorrimer Sanctuary 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin LakesJoin us for a fun-filled 2 hours of learning about the birds that call Lorrimer home! This is our World Series of Birding Day for kids 1-6! Our Lorrimer Tiny Tot Birders will come together and search the woods for birds of every shape and color! Make your own binoculars, learn your favorite bird song, and see lots of different kinds of birds (and plenty of other wildlife!) as we learn and play.
