Join area writer, birder, and conservation advocate Kelly Ball to craft a life-sized bird sculpture from upcycled cloth and become part of a crowdsourced art project. Each handcrafted bird commemorates a real bird that lost its life after hitting glass. Your bird will become part of a 300-ft art project that will travel the U.S. to educate the public about bird-window collisions and you'll be part of the searchable database of people that contributed. We'll also learn how to prevent bird-window collisions - especially important during spring migration! Note: This is a family-friendly program. Adults must accompany children.
