Join us at Lorrimer Sanctuary for our VERY FIRST Art & Maker's Market this holiday season! Looking for a unique shopping experience this holiday season? At Lorrimer Sanctuary we are hosting local artists and makers who are selling their handmade goods for one day only! You can buy yourself or a loved one nature-based artwork and other one-of-a kind gifts made with love! This is an all ages event, not a drop off program: children must have an accompanying adult if under 16 years old. Free entry - please register if you want to attend so we can get an idea of how many people to expect. COST: FREE Ticket sales for this event will end at 10:00 AM on the day of the event. Join us for a fun and creative holiday wreath making workshop at Lorrimer Sanctuary. Get your hands dirty and let your imagination bloom as we guide you through the process of creating your very own beautiful wreath. In the process you’ll learn to identify common evergreen trees by their leaves and cones and understand the local ecology of NJ coniferous trees. Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your inner artist and take home a stunning handmade wreath to proudly display! This program is suited for teens and adults. All materials will be provided by New Jersey Audubon, including a reusable wreath base, fresh evergreens, and natural decor (pinecones, dried fruit, ribbon, etc.). Coffee and Birds Start your morning off right at Lorrimer Sanctuary with a cup of coffee and a front row seat to our new birdwatching facilities! You will be able to relax inside as well as outside on our brand-new observation deck. Bonus points if you bring your own mug! Please register so we know how much to brew! Currently Brewing: July 12th - Birds and Beans, Bird-Friendly Coffee August 9th - September 13th - October 11th - November 8th - December 13th - Hot Cocoa Ticket sale for each class ends at 4:00 PM on the day before the class.
