Tiny Tots – Fall Series
Lorrimer Sanctuary 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin Lakes, NJ, United StatesWelcome to Tiny Tots Fall Series! Toddlers can be naturalists too! Perfect for littles 18 months to 3 years old, join us for story time and nature activities! We welcome a new generation of budding naturalists to Lorrimer Sanctuary for this "grown-up-and-me" style program. We will read books, explore outside, and learn about nature in age-appropriate ways for littles! This program is best for kids 18 months to 3.5yrs. Lessons follow our statewide programmatic themes: October: Sustainability, November: Waterfowl. SCHEDULE: October 1st: Fallings Leaves, Growing Green (Compost and Mulch) October 8th: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! (Repurposed Materials) October 15th: Harvest & Home (Where Food Comes From) October 22nd: Water Wise Wanderers (Water Conservation) October 29th: Eco-Boo (Go Green Halloween) November 5th: Feathers & Flyways (Migration Introduction) November 12th: Paddle, Waddle, Splash (Movement & Habitat) November 19th: Geese Gratitude (Migration & Thankfulness) COST: $8 NJA Member - Child $9 NJA Non-Member - Child $64 ALL sessions NJA Member - Child $72 ALL sessions NJA Non-Member - Child CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. Junior Naturalists Club (Afterschool Fall Session)

Designed to be a continuation from our younger student afterschool program, the Junior Naturalists Club is meant for kids ages 8-12. During this hour-long program, we will get hands-on discovering nature through outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, science experiments, and more. This is a drop-off program. Homeschoolers welcome! Registration ends at 5 pm the day before each event! COST: $9 per child for members $11 per child for nonmembers, $72 Member Child (All Session Ticket) $88 Non-Member Child (All Session Ticket) Registration ends at 5 pm the day before each event! Join us for a fun-filled Fall Break at Lorrimer Sanctuary in Franklin Lakes, NJ! Get ready for an exciting outdoor adventure where kids can explore nature, learn new skills, and make lasting memories. Our experienced environmental educators will lead engaging activities like hiking, nature crafts, and interactive games. At Fall Break Fun, children will have the opportunity to connect with nature, discover fascinating wildlife, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to have a blast during your fall break! This is an ONSITE program at Lorrimer Sanctuary for kids in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. Sessions available: 9am-1pm Thursday November 5th: Wilderness Skills Friday November 6th: Camp Favorites COST: $100 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This is a 4-hour drop-off program for kindergarten to 3rd grade students. This program will run through lunch, and we will break for morning snack. Please note, Lorrimer Sanctuary is NOT a peanut-free facility. Fall Break Fun: Fishing: 3rd to 6th Grade

You will be able to relax inside as well as outside on our brand-new observation deck. Bonus points if you bring your own mug! Please register so we know how much to brew! Topics to be announced. This IS a drop-off program, but parents are invited to stay and have coffee or chat inside during the program! Homeschoolers welcome!
