Led by Chris and Paula Williams, NJ Audubon Associate Naturalists.    Join the Williams for a walk through the fields of this grassland preserve to look for resident NJ birds, butterflies, and anything else nature will be showing. Grasshopper Sparrow, Bobolink, and American Kestrel, state threatened species, are found on this site. Bring binoculars if you have them.  The trails through the field are easy to walk.  This site is one of the first grassland restoration projects NJ Audubon has implemented for Franklin Township Open Space Committee. This program is funded by the Franklin Township Open Space Committee.  Cost: Free.  Location: Negri Nepote Native Grassland Preserve, 260 Skillmans Lane, Somerset, NJ  Registration: Please register with Franklin Township by email: [email protected]
