Mannington Marsh and Environs

March 16 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

March brings a good mix of waterfowl, herons, egrets, some shorebirds & early songbirds to this productive and rural part of NJ. Mannington Marsh can hold a good variety of ducks, herons, and egrets, plus shorebirds. There are usually plenty of Bald Eagles around and a resident pair of Sandhill Cranes. Early spring migrants like swallows, kinglets, and sparrows may be present. We’ll also visit other nearby areas including Featherbed Lane.  Led by Scott Barnes, Linda Mack, and associate naturalists.

LOCATION: Meets at the Wawa, located at 896 NJ-45, Woodstown NJ, 08098
