NJ Audubon: Woodpeckers of Hawk Rise
Led by Angus Macaulay, NJ Audubon Teacher Naturalist
The forest of Hawk Rise provides excellent habitat for multiple woodpecker species. Join us for a brief discussion of the woodpeckers of New Jersey, followed by a walk along the trails in search of these fascinating birds. Loaner binoculars will be available. Hot beverages will be provided afterwards. This program is appropriate for individuals of all ages. Come dressed for the weather.
