Signs of Winter: Nature Sensory Stroll
Don’t let the chilly winter months keep you from spending time outside! Bundle up and join us for a family-friendly, sensory-focused nature walk! We will take a gentle stroll around the nature center trails, focusing on the sights, sounds, and textures of winter. We will identify trees, search for signs of wildlife, and collect a few natural treasures along the way. Note: We may walk up to a mile, over generally level surfaces. Some surfaces may be muddy or uneven. Please dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear.
Pre-registration is required.
WHEN: Saturdays, 9 am- 10 am
MEETING LOCATION: Trucksess Welcome Center at 1600 Delaware Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey. Meet 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the program.
COST: $8 for children (under 3 are free), $12 for adults
CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
