Above Par Birding at Cox Hall Creek – April 20, 2025

Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Steve Rodan

Temp: 62° F

Winds: NW 12 mph

Weather Conditions: mostly sunny

Bird song resounded across CHC WMA this morning, mostly provided by cardinals and titmouse but with occasional songs from Yellow-throated and Pine Warblers. Although over a thousand Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were reported from Spring Watch, we only found three that had made their way this far up the bay so far. A Blue-headed Vireo was a first-of-year species for the group.
