Above Par Birding at Cox Hall Creek – August 21, 2022

Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn

Temp: 68°F

Winds: ENE 6 mph

Weather Conditions: mostly cloudy

Birds are pretty quiet at this end-of-summer season; many of them are still here, just not calling much, making them harder to find. Baltimore Oriole, Green Heron, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, and Eastern Kingbird were among the migrants we saw this morning. Blue Grosbeak and Eastern Wood Pewee are breeding birds at CHC and both provided good views today.
