A Green Heron really put on a show for us this morning, as it foraged along the edge of one of the Plover Ponds showing off its vibrant colors in the morning sunlight. Indigo Buntings, White-eyes Vireos and Common Yellow-throats sang from several spots along the trails without giving us decent views of any of them. A single American Redstart flitted in the cedars and a pair of Bank Swallows fed over Lighthouse Pond along with Barn and Tree Swallows and Purple Martins.
