It was a great day for studying ducks at the State Park this morning. We had 14 different species and most of them could be seen closely and in good numbers. Two Blue-winged Teal were among those 14 species though, oddly, we didn’t see any Green-winged Teal which are usually more common. It was also nice to see, and occasionally hear, the Tundra Swans that have settled in for the winter.
