Birding Cape May Point – July 22, 2023

Weather Conditions: mostly cloudy

Shorebirds are winging south again, having finished their quick northern breeding season; we had six species, including a fly-over Whimbrel. A Wood Duck tried unsuccessfully to hide in the reeds along Lighthouse Pond and a huge migration of dragonflies was evident throughout the park.
