Today was a good day to look up as we walked. Black Skimmers flew overhead, yipping, and flocks of Glossy Ibis passed over. We saw smaller numbers of White Ibis as well in their splotchy brown and white plumage with the long, decurved orange bills. Most of the Purple Martin chicks have fledged and can be seen and heard throughout the park.
