CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s CMBO programs are virtually never cancelled. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future. A Starry Night with the Moths

Plainsboro Preserve 80 Scott's Corner Rd, East Windsor

Join NJ Audubon in celebrating National Moth Week! If you thought moths were just small, drab, and annoying insects, you'll be surprised by what you learn about these fascinating nocturnal creatures. We will have a light station set up on the back deck where we expect to see dozens of species, big and small. A short walk through the woods will take us to a series of stations where we will try to lure in moths with a mixture of over-ripe fruit. We will also have a star gazing station where our volunteer astronomers will have a telescope set up for your viewing pleasure. This event is scheduled to run until 10:30 pm, but moth numbers and diversity increase as the night goes on, so we'll stay longer if the moths keep coming. All ages, minors must be accompanied by an adult COST: $15 per person REGISTER HERE
