NJ Audubon Fall Migration Bird Walk at Hawk Rise Sanctuary
Led by Angus Macaulay, NJ Audubon Teacher Naturalist The fall bird migration is underway! Join us for a stroll along the Hawk Rise trails. We will view and identify some of the many bird species that rely on this critical habitat for their journey south. Loaner binoculars and instructions will be available. This program is appropriate for individuals of all ages. Come dressed for the weather. Beverages will be provided afterwards. Registration is required by 10/3 at 4:00 PM. Fall Migration Bird Walks
Lorrimer Sanctuary 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin LakesJoin us at Lorimer Sanctuary to observe and identify birds that are on their fall migration journeys! Led by Teacher Naturalist Toni Stober This is an all-ages event, not a drop off program: children must have an accompanying adult if under 16 years old. You must register if you wish to attend. This event will be held in-person at Lorrimer Sanctuary. RAIN DATE: Sunday October 11th @ 9:00 am COST: $5 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dress for the weather. This program is entirely outdoors. NJ Audubon: Sunday Afternoon Bird Walk
Led by Jeremy Cohen, Associate Naturalist Join our naturalist for a Sunday afternoon bird walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary.
