Mid-October can be excellent for migratory songbirds and other species at this coastal hotspot. Fall birding at the hook: we may encounter anything from shorebirds and terns to flycatchers, sparrows, and warblers. A wide variety of habitats ensure good bird diversity at one of the state’s best spots.
