NJ Audubon Employee and Volunteer Art Show
The NJ Audubon Employee and Volunteer Art Show will be opening a the Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery, located on the 2nd floor of the Scherman Hoffman building. Our volunteers and employees will be displaying their latest and favorite wildlife and natural landscapes artwork between October 7, 2023, and January 31, 2024. Light refreshments will be served on October 7 between 12:30pm and 3pm. The Art Gallery is open: Thursday-Saturday 9am – 5pm Sunday 12 noon – 5pm. Cost: FREE Location: Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery on the second floor of the Scherman Hoffman Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Rd. in Bernardsville.

NJ Audubon: Easy Native Plant Propagation
NJ Audubon: Easy Native Plant Propagation
Led by Stephanie Punnett, Program Director Residential landscapes are becoming increasingly important for the survival of native pollinators and other wildlife and can be home for both humans and wildlife. In this workshop we’ll show you how to create a wildlife garden and a simple way to start native plants from seed. You can make up to five mini-greenhouses from repurposed materials and plant your choice of over twenty species of native plant seeds. As a bonus, make a pollinator home for native bees from recycled materials for your backyard. All materials provided. One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends 01/18 at 4:00 PM. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. Limit 15. COST: $18 members, $23 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member? If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Discussions will be held at Lorrimer Sanctuary unless otherwise noted. Recommendations welcome!
