Paint the majestic scenery at the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary in Bernardsville, New Jersey, with professional artist and experienced arts educator Ingrid Marie Harbour. Bring your outdoor painting kit and setup to soak up nature and create beautiful landscape art that soothes your senses. This 3-hour class, geared toward adults who are serious about plein air painting, will meet at NJ Audubon and set up. Each participant chooses their composition. A short demo by the instructor will get you painting quickly, developing an underpainting, using color blocking, and capturing the moment with expressive details. Constructive feedback and guidance will be provided, along with recommendations to enhance your experience. An approachable yet structured format encourages you to follow your inner calling to make art. Beginner-friendly and open to adult and teen artists (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult; minimum age 16) interested in oil painting outdoors. You may request a curated art supply kit for $100 (not including the easel). If you request 2 weeks before the class start date, it will be provided to you on the day of the class.
