After School Nature Club (Fall Session)
Lorrimer Sanctuary 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin LakesFOR CHILDREN 4 to 7 YEARS OLD Join us after school for this 1-hour Wednesday afternoon program! Each day will feature a nature topic, walk, craft, activity, and/or story! We welcome the next generation of naturalists to Lorrimer Sanctuary for our after-school nature club! Designed to be a continuation from our Tiny Tots program, we will read books, explore outside, make nature-themed crafts, and learn about the environment in age-appropriate ways. Topics to be announced. This IS a drop-off program, but parents are invited to stay and have coffee or chat inside during the program! Homeschoolers welcome! Registration ends at 5 pm the day before each event! COST: $9 NJA Member - Child $11 NJA Non-Member - Child $72 ALL sessions NJA Member - Child $88 ALL sessions NJA Non-Member - Child CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Nature Art Club: Reimagined Landscapes: Nature-Based Collaging
Join us at Lorrimer Sanctuary once a month for nature-based art projects! Reimagined Landscapes: Nature-Based Collaging: Explore a new art form in our nature collaging workshop! Use your imagination to design unique shapes and landscapes by combining elements of craft and nature. Feel free to bring your own materials, but other supplies will be provided. Led by Teacher Naturalist and Artist Toni Stober. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Supplies will be provided This is an all ages event, not a drop off program: children must have an accompanying adult if under 16 years old This event will be both indoors and outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather You must pre-register for each class you wish to attend.
