Fall Migration Bird Walks
Lorrimer Sanctuary 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin LakesJoin us at Lorimer Sanctuary to observe and identify birds that are on their fall migration journeys! Led by Teacher Naturalist Toni Stober This is an all-ages event, not a drop off program: children must have an accompanying adult if under 16 years old. You must register if you wish to attend. This event will be held in-person at Lorrimer Sanctuary. RAIN DATE: Sunday October 11th @ 9:00 am COST: $5 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dress for the weather. This program is entirely outdoors. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future. REGISTER HERE
Nature Art Club: Candle Wax Painting
Join us at Lorrimer Sanctuary once a month for nature-based art projects! Candle Wax Painting: Warm up your home this holiday season with your very own wax painted candles! They will be safe to burn afterwards or can be used as a decoration! Led by Teacher Naturalist and Artist Toni Stober. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Supplies will be provided This is an all ages event, not a drop off program: children must have an accompanying adult if under 16 years old This event will be both indoors and outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather You must pre-register for each class you wish to attend.
