Harbor Art Gallery Opening Reception – October 2023

The Harbor Gallery is pleased to announce their featured local artists for the month of October. Meghan Kolk and George Reed will display their works with an opening reception to meet the artists on October 6th from 4-6pm. All artwork is for sale, with a portion of sales going to support the Nature Center of Cape May. Light refreshments will be served. The show will remain on exhibit at the Harbor Gallery for the entire month. Location: The Harbor Gallery is located at New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May at 1600 Delaware Ave, Cape May.

Creative Hands Club: Beachy Mirrors
Nature Center of Cape May 1600 Delaware Avenue, Cape May, NJ, United StatesCreate a unique beach themed mirror using shells and beach finds. We will provide mirrors and a wide assortment of shells. You are welcome to bring some of your favorite finds as well. Learn to create beautiful flower designs reminiscent of Sailor Valentines. Your mirror will certainly be a conversation piece in your beach cottage home. Pre-registration is required. COST: $35 Members, $42 Non-member. CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Cape May Harbor Beach Sweep
Nature Center of Cape May 1600 Delaware Avenue, Cape May, NJ, United StatesJoin us at the Nature Center to help clean our ocean and harbor beaches here in Cape May.  This date coincides with Clean Ocean Action's annual Beach Sweeps. This is a great community service project for your civic organization or scout group.  Additionally, we’ll plant, mulch, deadhead, weed, and prune throughout the Center's grounds and along the harbor. Preregistration is not required; however, if you plan to bring a large group, we would appreciate a call ahead of time: (609) 427-3045. COST: FREE CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Creative Hands Club: Posh Pumpkins

Pressed flowers, dried natural materials, paints and more will be used. All supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring along more of your own gorgeous gourds.
