IN-PERSON Nature Infused Yoga

Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Preregistration is required. There will be no class 7/1. Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. The in-person class has a limit of 10 people. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. COST: $13 members, $16 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member? NJ Audubon River Ramble

Catch crayfish, water striders, water pennies, and more! The Passaic River gently flows through our sanctuary, and is shallow and perfect for wading in. Please wear sturdy closed-toe water shoes. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. Registration required by 6/02 at 4:00 PM. One family per ticket. Limited to 6 families. This will be a hybrid program offered as an in-person and a zoom meeting. Please select either the in-person ticket or the virtual ticket when you register. In-person attendees (limited to 15) will also see display items, receive handouts and go on a short walk on the trails at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary. Recommended for adults. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. Exploring Negri Nepote Grassland Preserve for Nesting Birds

NJ Audubon Fairy Gardens Workshop

We’ll make fairy-sized gardens filled with fairy decorations and accessories you make with natural materials. We'll show you how to make houses, tables, chairs, swings, and more! You can make a flower fairy or a gnome, too! We’ll have more ideas and examples to get you started, and then let your imagination do the rest. All materials supplied: baskets, soil, plants, fairy materials, and oodles of natural materials. Bring a glue gun if you have one. Children must be accompanied by an adult. One basket per ticket.
