Glorious, warm morning in the beautiful backyard habitat at Cape May Bird Observatory’s Northwood Center. Participants were treated to looks at fresh breeding plumage on Northern Parula, Blackpoll and quite appropriately, Cape May Warblers. For the second week in a row, Grey Catbirds were seen feeding on the seeds of Winged Sumac; this food source has remained un-eaten all winter. Overflying birds included Red-headed Woodpecker and noisy Green Herons.
