Fall Migration Bird Walk at Garret Mountain Reservation
Join us for a busy migration morning full of birdsong at Garret Mountain Reservation! Open to all birders, beginner or advanced. Bring your enthusiasm and observation skills to this magical migration bird walk! We will meet in the parking lot at Garret Mountain Reservation in Woodland Park, NJ. We will be out for about 2 hours, enjoying the sights and sounds of early fall migration in a beautiful, forested park known for its views of raptor migration along the Watchung ridge. Open to birders of all ages and skill levels.
COST: $8 members / $10 nonmembers
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Children under 16 must have an adult present.
- This is not a drop-off program.
- This program takes place entirely outside; please dress appropriately.
- Some extra binoculars will be available to borrow.
CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
