NJ Audubon: Bearfort Waters & Mossman’s Brook Trail Bird Walk and Old Coal Trail
June 3, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Join Associate Naturalist Dave Oster to bird around Bearfort Waters and the trail along Mossman’s Brook. We’ll walk portions of Mossman’s Brook Trail and Old Coal Trail to maximize our chances. Last year Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Least and Acadian Flycatcher, Hermit Thrush, Louisiana Waterthrush, and Hooded, Cerulean, Worm-eating, and Black-throated Blue Warblers were all present, plus many other nesting species. Sturdy footwear recommended as the trail is level to rolling but rocky in places. Often very buggy. Please bring your own binoculars, and spotting scope if desired. There will be no equipment available to borrow.
Ticket sales end on 6/2/2023 at 4:00 PM. Registration required. Walk-ins will not be permitted to participate.
COST: $15 members, $20 nonmembers.
