NJ Young Birders Club-Sandy Hook

March 26 @ 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

Early spring migration at Sandy Hook. We may see raptors, gulls, lingering waterfowl and returning Piping Plovers.We’ll hope for good winds and an early spring hawk flight and search for lingering waterbirds, interesting gulls, and returning Piping Plovers. For young birders ages 11-17 plus parent/guardian. Led by Scott Barnes and Linda Mack.

Location: Meet at Parking Lot B, about halfway down the lot by the restroom building.

COST: FREE

NEW JERSEY AUDUBON’S PROGRAM GUIDELINES: All NJ counties are considered medium to low COVID-19 community levels.  New Jersey Audubon highly recommends that anyone who is not fully vaccinated, wants additional protection, or comes from a higher community level area should consider wearing a mask and social distancing, especially indoors.  Please do not come to a program if you are sick, have a sick family member or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
