Sandy Hook Birding

Late fall birding at this coastal hotspot. We’ll search for waterfowl, raptors, and lingering songbirds. Late fall birding at the hook. A wide variety of habitats ensure good bird diversity at one of the state’s best spots. November often includes a variety of waterfowl, raptors, and perhaps Snow Bunting or Horned Lark. Bring lunch and be prepared for walking over flat and sandy terrain. Led by Scott Barnes and Carole Hughes
Location: Meet at Parking Lot B, about halfway down the lot by the restrooms.
