Spooky Family Night Hike – CANCELED
Due to the forecasted heavy rain and wind we’ve had to cancel this program.
Join us for a spine-tingling journey into the realm of night creatures! When darkness falls, the forest comes alive with mysterious sounds, glowing eyes, and creatures that prowl in the shadows. This thrilling guided adventure will take you face-to-face with nature’s most misunderstood animals.
COSTUMES ENCOURAGED! Come dressed as your favorite spooky creature, nature animal, or Halloween character.
Dare to Discover:
- Silent Hunters – Learn about the ghostly flight of owls and their bone-chilling calls that echo through the darkness
- Winged Shadows – Meet the mysterious world of bats as they swoop overhead, masters of the night sky
- Eight-Legged Architects – Witness spiders spinning their deadly traps, revealed under eerie UV light
- Slithering Serpents – Uncover the secrets of snakes that move like phantoms through the underbrush
This program is geared towards families with children 4 +, not a drop off program.
COST: $7 members / $8 nonmembers
CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
