Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm – October 10, 2026

Leaders: Kathy & Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon, Tyler Savage

Temp: 58°F

Winds: NE 6 mph

Weather Conditions: overcast

The star of today’s bird walk at the Rea Farm was definitely the Yellow-billed Cuckoo that gave us a great show. It sat still in good light for prolonged periods, enabling us to get great looks. Eastern Phoebes worked the field edges in a number of places and Savannah; Swamp and Song sparrows moved between fields and hedgerows.
