Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm – September 17, 2022

Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon, Barry Hershfeld

Temp: 64°F

Winds: NE 8 mph

Weather Conditions: sunny

It was a very good first-of-season field trip at the Beanery today. We saw eleven species of warblers, including fleeting looks at a Canada Warbler. A couple of American Kestrels perched obligingly, providing scope views, Baltimore Orioles brightened the tops of a few trees and Wood Ducks glided across the pond, disappearing quickly out of sight.
