NJ Audubon Adirondack Tour

2018 NJ Audubon Adirondack Tour complete. We faced some challenges this year, but time spent in the largest wilderness area in the northeast is always rewarding, especially w/ a great group of participants! Some highlights included 6 American Bitterns (some “singing”), winnowing Wilson’s Snipe, Black-backed Woodpecker, Gray Jays, a scope view of a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, the “quick 3 beers” song of Olive-sided Flycatcher, Mourning Warbler, & Purple Finches. We also saw a black bear cub & moose tracks.
