Monarchs & Cape May: A Migration Story – Lower Cape May County Library Lecture

Join Cape May Bird Observatory’s (CMBO) Monarch Field Naturalists as they discuss all things Monarch Butterflies! The team will review monarch ecology and lifecycle, as well as the efforts of CMBO’s Monarch Monitoring Project to increase our understanding of the fall migration of monarchs along the Atlantic coast, through both research and education. They will also be able to share some of the data they have collected from the 2026 field season! Most importantly, we hope you leave this presentation with an understanding of how you can help support monarchs so that their migrant populations will enjoy a secure future.
