  • John Clyde Native Grassland Preserve Birds and Butterflies

    John Clyde Memorial Native Grasslands Preserve 1091 Canal Rd, Princeton, NJ, United States

    Led by Chris and Paula Williams, Associate Naturalists Join the Williams for a walk through the fields and forest of this grassland preserve to look for butterflies, resident NJ birds, late migrant birds passing through, and anything else nature will be showing. Grasshopper Sparrow, Bobolink, and American Kestrel, state threatened species, are found on this site. Bring binoculars if you have them.  This site is one of the first grassland restoration projects NJ Audubon has implemented for Franklin Township Open Space Committee. This program is funded by the Franklin Township Open Space Committee.
