IN-PERSON Nature Infused Yoga

Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be provided.) There will be no classes 12/28/24, 1/18/25, 2/15/25. Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. The in-person class has a limit of 10 people. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. NJ Audubon: Saturday Winter Hike
New Jersey Audubon's Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary 11 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, NJ, United StatesLed by Sue Predl, Nature Store Assistant Join Sue for a guided two-mile nature hike to enjoy the trees, birds, and plant life at Scherman Hoffman Nature Sanctuary on Saturday January 11 and 25. The trails we hike will vary, but we can guarantee beautiful views of our sanctuary. We will hike approximately 2 miles. Walking time is flexible but will be approximately 2 ½ hours. Please dress for the winter weather and wear sturdy shoes; be prepared to walk on uneven ground and up hills. The hike will go rain or shine. We will meet at the Scherman Hoffman Nature Store at 2:00 PM. Registration required by 12:00 PM the day of the hike. COST: free for members, $5 nonmembers. Interested in becoming a member? The NJ Audubon's Wayrick Gallery in Bernardsville, NJ, is hosting a stunning new exhibit, Country & Nature Photography, featuring works by the talented photographers of the Sparta Camera Club from February 8 to April 26. This collection celebrates the beauty of rural landscapes and wildlife, capturing the splendor of nature through the eyes of local photographers. The exhibit opens with a free reception on February 8 from 2 to 4 p.m., where guests can meet the photographers and enjoy light refreshments. Subjects covered include equipment, planning, composition, and capture. In addition, the program will cover photo editing techniques used to process landscape images using Adobe Camera RAW, Photoshop, and NIK Plug Ins. NJ Audubon: Count the Birds for the Great Backyard Bird Count

Join Dorothy Smullen, Teacher Naturalist, to count the birds at the bird feeding station in front of the Welcome Center/Nature Store and report our results. Learn how to count birds in your own backyard for this world-wide citizen science program established in 1998 by National Audubon Society and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
