Despite a brisk breeze, signs of spring were everywhere during this morning’s walk. Tree Swallows were carrying nesting material, Field Sparrows were singing on the dune, American Oystercatchers were paired up on the beach, and Northern Gannets were streaming by. The woods held multiple Pine Warblers, Eastern Phoebes, Hermit Thrushes, and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers.
