Dragonflies, butterflies, and birds were all out this morning, seemingly, like us, enjoying the clear air and lower humidity. Blue Grosbeak, Green Heron and Glossy Ibis were all close along the edge of the trail behind the dunes. Egret numbers are building on Bunker Pond and Purple Martin numbers have dwindled. A couple of Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were flitting through the trees, feeding, and a small flock of Broad-winged Hawks soared overhead.
