It was an especially good duck day at the State Park this morning. Among the 16 species were a pair of Blue- winged Teal, which are much less common here in winter than Green-winged Teal, and a Canvasback. Yellow-rumped Warblers are still plentiful since there’s still a lot of food for them, and there was a beautiful mixed flock of Eastern Bluebirds and Cedar Waxwings.
