Birding Cape May Point – July 6, 2024

Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon, Holly Lemieux, Mark Lemieux

Temp: 71°F

Winds: ENE 7 mph

Weather Conditions: sunny

It looks and sounds like summer at the State Park. Purple Martins are calling and swooping. Young, spot- breasted American Robins are begging the adults for food, and Field Sparrows are sitting up singing again, as if between broods. Flocks of Yellowlegs and White Ibis flew overhead along with a few Osprey.
