Creative Hands Club: It’s (Never) Too Late for Truffles
Join local home food experimenter John Schaeffer to learn how you can make a classic, indulgent treat: the delightful chocolate truffle. After this session, you’ll be able to make this decadent treat at home, on demand, with your choice of flavors and coatings. Bring your sense of adventure and an open mind. All necessary ingredients will be provided, and you will have more than notes to take away...truffles! Pre-registration is required. COST: $35 Members, $42 Non-member. CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however, registrations can be transferred to another program in the future. REGISTER HERE
Constellations and Cocoa
Enjoy the natural beauty of the stars at night, learn about the winter constellations, and warm up with a cup of hot cocoa! This event will take place entirely outdoors, please dress appropriately. Visit Lorrimer Sanctuary for this after-dark program all about the stars! We'll be looking up as we learn all about the fall constellations and their myths as we sip on hot cocoa during this family-friendly program. This event will take place entirely outdoors, please dress appropriately. This event is weather dependent and will be cancelled if there is rain or cloud cover, participants will be notified of cancellations by 5:00 PM.
