Nummy Island NJJoin CMBO naturalists for 2 hours of birding around beautiful Nummy Island! This rich salt marsh is one of the best spots to observe hunting and breeding Clapper Rails, herons and egrets, American Oystercatchers, Ospreys, Black Skimmers, terns and Seaside Sparrows, and to enjoy mudflats teeming with migrant shorebirds. PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED. COST: $8 members, $12 nonmembers. Creative Hands Club: Repurposed Puzzle Pieces
If you love puzzles, this workshop is for you! Old puzzle pieces will be painted in a variety of colors and used to create your choice of several projects. You can make jewelry, a picture frame, or a custom design on canvas. Examples and all materials will be provided. Led by Program Director, Emily Reed. Pre-registration is required.
