We are welcoming and embracing the fall season with different activities every week that include art projects, nature walks, and more! Led by Teacher Naturalist Toni Stober SCHEDULE: October 11th: Luscious Leaves and Fall Foliage! October 25th: Brilliant Bats! November 1st: Pumpkins! November 8th: Cozy Morning Story Time! November 15th: Animal Hibernation! November 22nd: Giving Thanks for Thanksgiving! COST: One Family $5  IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  Price of tickets are per one family. This is not a drop off program: children must have an accompanying adult if under 16 years old. These events may be both indoors and outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather. CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund.     Join Captain Bob and the crew of The Osprey for close-up looks at secretive rails, nesting Ospreys, migrant shorebirds, terns, gulls, herons and more. We explore the coastal saltmarsh of Cape May from Cape Island Creek to the Wildwoods and view the natural wonders of historic Cape May Harbor. The Osprey is a 37' pontoon boat that has a comfortable enclosed cabin with large viewing windows, a front deck with a railing, and a restroom on board. Non-motorized wheelchair accessible.     Join Ben Barkley, Program Director, for an early bird’s eye view of the fall migration. Join us for an early morning Friday bird walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary. We will survey the morning migrants from the 3rd floor observation deck and then continue onto the trails for a short hike. The length of the hike will depend on bird activity. At Fall Break Fun, children will have the opportunity to connect with nature, discover fascinating wildlife, and develop a deeper appreciation for the environment. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to have a blast during your fall break! This is an ONSITE program at Lorrimer Sanctuary for kids in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
