Bring your love and your binoculars to this free guided bird walk at Lorrimer Sanctuary! We're hoping to get your heart soaring for birdwatching as we chat about beginner techniques and look for early nesters. This program is entirely outside, please dress appropriately. Maple Sugaring
Lorrimer Sanctuary 790 Ewing Avenue, Franklin Lakes, NJ, United StatesCome learn all about the process of making maple syrup through a hands-on demonstration. Tap a tree, collect sap, and taste test the syrup! Join a NJ Audubon naturalist for a fun look into the process behind making maple syrup! Learn how to identify a sugar maple tree, find out how maple sap (and eventually syrup) was discovered, collect sap, and practice tapping a tree yourself! NJ Audubon: Croaks, Trills, and Splashes

Come for an adventure to the world of amphibians! We’ll explore our vernal pond with nets and buckets and listen and look for the Wood Frogs that come to the ponds to lay their eggs once a year.
