Take a break from your busy day for a relaxing, nature-infused yoga practice. This is a gentle, all levels class led by owner of Itswell Yoga, Emily Reed. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one (we will have a few extras available if needed). We will practice indoors, overlooking the Cape May Harbor. Nature-based poetry and metaphors will be woven throughout each session. COST: $10 Member, $12 Non-member WHERE: Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave WHEN: Wednesdays in March and April. 12pm-1pm CANCELLATION POLICY: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. We welcome a new generation of budding naturalists to Lorrimer Sanctuary for this "grown-up-and-me" style program. We will read books, explore outside, and learn about nature in age-appropriate ways for littles! SCHEDULE: March 21st: Seed Planting March 28th: Radical Reptiles April 4th: April Showers April 11th: Spring Scavenger Hunt April 18th: Nature Egg Hunt April 25th: Earth Day May 2nd : May Flowers May 11th: World Series of Birding COST: $5 per child for members, $6 per child for nonmembers. Join CMBO naturalists for 2 hours of birding around beautiful Cape May Point! The “shoulder season” in Cape May is a wonderful time for birding and there’s no better place to do it than the Cape May Point State Park. With its diversity of habitat – beach, dunes, ponds, forest, and marsh – it’s the perfect spot for migrating waterfowl, songbirds and shorebirds to stop and refuel as the push of spring migration begins. We’ll travel the trails, check out CMBO’s Northwood Center and other surrounding hotspots on The Point, as we soak up the wonder of this annual phenomenon of Nature. Join us every Saturday for 2 hours of birding at the Cape May Point State Park and let us share with you the wonder of this special time of year. We may walk up to 1.5 miles, over generally level, sometimes muddy or sandy terrain. Some trips involve walks over jetties. COST: $8 members, $12 nonmembers. PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED.
