John Clyde Memorial Native Grasslands Preserve Fall Foliage and Birdwalk

April 28 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Led by Chris and Paula Williams, Associate Naturalists.

Join the Williams for a walk through the fields and forest of this grassland preserve to look for butterflies, birds returning to NJ, migrant birds just passing through, and anything else nature will be showing. Grasshopper Sparrow, Bobolink, and American Kestrel, state threatened species, are found on this site. Bring binoculars if you have them.  This site is one of the first grassland restoration projects NJ Audubon has implemented for Franklin Township Open Space Committee.
