Fall Migrants at the Rea Farm – October 25, 2025

Leaders: Kathy Horn, Roger Horn, Bernie Hodgdon, Mark Lemieux

Temp: 47°F

Winds: NW 3 mph

Weather Conditions: mostly clear

Sparrows are IN at the Rea Farm, with lots of Song, Swamp and White-throated. Savannah, Chipping and Field Sparrows are present in lesser numbers as well. In addition to many Yellow-throated Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, some of which were calling, we saw several Western Palm Warblers. Raptors were in short supply, but we had four species of woodpeckers including a Hairy feeding, calling and drumming close to a Downy Woodpecker.
